In the wake of recent topper scam in Bihar boards examination which was followed by huge suspension of affiliation of 88 schools Bihar State Examination Board (BSEB) is all set to take a huge step against corruption in the system within a very less targeted time.
BSEB has decided to Introduce Digital marking system right from the upcoming compartment exams scheduled in the month of November.
The system is already under practice in CBSE and sate Boards of Odisha and Goa.
Under the proposed system, answer sheets will be scanned and original copies will be stored safely in strong room.
Evaluators will now have to read answers sheets on computer screens and award appropriate marks on a table provided online.
This in turn will help in preventing tempering of answer sheets.
BSEB has also announced its intentions of using a full flagged digital marking system from next year years board exams both for class X and XII.
