Datsun is celebrating its first anniversary in India and to mark this ocassion it hosted the ‘Datsun Drive-On’ in Delhi. Over 100 Datsun owners were present at this celebratory drive to celebrate the brand’s first anniversary in the Indian market.

The convoy of the ‘Datsun Drive-On’ initiative included Datsun GO and GO+ cars, which was flagged off by Guillaume Sicard, President, Nissan India Operations and Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana in Delhi.The manufacturer will also celebrate the occasion with underprivileged children at 100 locations across our country.

Sicard said, “India was the first market to begin selling Datsun products after it was announced in 2012 that the brand would be reintroduced, and we are proud to celebrate this milestone in Datsun’s history in India.

Nissan in India has a portfolio of two brands, Nissan and Datsun. Datsun started sales in India, Indonesia, Russia and South Africa from 2014 and at present the carmaker has two products in the Indian market, theDatsun GO hatchback and the GO+ MPV. These cars are on sale in India through 176 Nissan-Datsun dealerships and standalone outlets in India, which are expected to increase in the coming years with the addition of new products.
