WANTED-A filter for beyond limits intellectuals

They always say,’It’s good to be smart but,not to be over smart’

So a couple of days back in the time, when Mr. Modi visited Facebook’s headquarters in USA to gather some support for digital India initiative,Facebook as a sign of their sincerity towards this visit, launched the first filter based profile picture change campaign named
‘support digital India.’
To kick start the campaign,Mr Modi and Zuckerberg changed their profile pictures ahead of everyone else and what followed was like
‘every other thing that contains modi’.
Criticism began all around as a bunch of self-proclaimed intellectuals went deep down enough to find a source code that contains the word – ‘INTERNET.ORG’ antiinternetorg
and they were smart enough to add the clause of MIGHT in the case that ‘this dp change is your vote for facebook’s and it MIGHT kill the net neutrality.
So for any non-techie guy,it really sounds like an evidence that clearly shows a hidden agenda but, there is always a but.i4q79

so lets hear to some experts who replied to one of such question raising article on the logical Indians website

More over
TRAI i.e. our Government doesn’t recognizes Facebook as an
authentic source of data collection or policy making or in simple words Voting platform.

so even if Facebook shows up with a data of 121 carore people signing in favor of making a particular change in our country,
government will never hear to it.

Moving on,
So a group of people were so smart that they went into source codes to get a proof.
Is it really usual?
Do we see what we sign?
Really that deep that one can find oil there?
The answer is no and why, because there is something in this world called EULA that we ignore horribly.

End User License Agreement aka EULA is officially an agreement between a User and the service provider which is widely considered legal and is more legally accepted than that Facebook script codes.
So officially it can get a user into trouble for violating any terms and wait a minute,
we never paid attention to it through out our journey to this article.

Here are few of them

                                  1 Google Chrome Owns you

Google chrome EULA has following terms which owns everything that you ……

2 Sony and EA waived away your rights to trial by a jury

by accepting the PlayStation Network’s new terms and conditions, you agreed to:

Any Dispute Resolution Proceedings, whether in arbitration or court, will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class or representative action…

3 The good one,PC Pitstop wanted to give you 1000$

To prove a point that no one reads EULAs,pcpitstop_eula                                                               After four months, someone noticed and claimed a $1,000 prize.

4 and the bad one,
EULA can change its terms anytime even if you miss the update

So we never take seriously something called an agreement but
we dig down in something called source code to prove a point???

once Abraham Lincoln said,
because later on Facebook came up with this statement officially,

“There is absolutely no connection between updating your profile picture for digital India and An engineer mistakenly used the words “ profile picture” as a shorthand name he chose for part of the code. But this product in no way connects to or registers support for We are changing the code today to eliminate any confusion.”

More over these digital terms and conditions we sign are as useless as we treat them.
They really never need our attention.

We own what we make and no EULA can change that by clicking I AGREE.
It is stated in Berne Convention, among other things:

Article 3
The protection of this Connection shall apply to:
(a) authors who are nationals of one of the countries of the Union, for their works, whether published or not;

Article 6bis
(1) Independently of the author’s economic rights, and even after the transfer of the said rights, the author shall have the right to claim authorship of the work and to object to any distortion, mutilation or other modification of, or other derogatory action in relation to, the said work, which would be prejudicial to his honor or reputation.

Article 9
(1) Authors of literary and artistic works protected by this Convention shall have the exclusive right of authorizing the reproduction of these works, in any manner or form.

The berne convention was first written in 1886 and latest update is from 1979 and most countries in the world agree to that license. Which literally says: Your work is your work, you own it and no one can take that ownership away.

At most one could assign a Creative commons license to it once published, but since your email is not published only the standard copyright protections apply.

Even a tycoon such as bill gates used the phrase
“the letter was written by a machine and not me”
to avoid a case which used a typed letter, signed by him,
as an evidence of his improper actions.

And as we said earlier TRAI has no consideration for these digital data.

This hoax was just a part of an old anti-modi propaganda as
people after Facebook’s official statement went on to criticize
modi’s visit to private companies and asking for support.Point was,
Well they surely don’t remember these

                                       Obama on a Private show

President Xi visiting Boeing’s private factory

Over intellectualism is so dangerous that it gave a bad impression to the attention the world paid to us.

we were so much in arguments that we almost forgot that it was an occasion of million opportunitiesUntitled
Don’t get spoiled by a MIGHT clause they add.
There was a Might of apocalypse in 2012,
USA nuking kolkata in 1971 war and
one in future that the world
MIGHT be in 15 says of darkness.

Go on and support digital India.
Jai hind.
